Limited Liability Partnership Identification Number (LLPIN)

The identifier assigned to every Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) at registration.

Definition

An LLPIN is the identifier assigned to every Limited Liability Partnership registered in India under the LLP Act 2008. It is the LLP equivalent of a CIN. LLPIN format differs from CIN — an LLPIN is a seven-character alphanumeric string rather than a 21-character structured code. LLPs file annual returns under the LLP Act (not the Companies Act 2013), and their master data is surfaced alongside companies on MCA.
