◈Definition
An LLPIN is the identifier assigned to every Limited Liability Partnership registered in India under the LLP Act 2008. It is the LLP equivalent of a CIN. LLPIN format differs from CIN — an LLPIN is a seven-character alphanumeric string rather than a 21-character structured code. LLPs file annual returns under the LLP Act (not the Companies Act 2013), and their master data is surfaced alongside companies on MCA.
